Connect Drives
This feature allows drives to be unlocked or drives, folders, and network shares to be mapped to a drive letter when a profile starts:- VeraCrypt or TrueCrypt encrypted drives or containers can be mounted.
- Local folders or network shares can be mapped to a drive letter.
- BitLocker drives can be unlocked.

Drive Table
The table displays all drives that will be connected or unlocked when the profile starts. Activation is done via the checkbox in front of each connection type.Table Columns

| Password | Displayed as asterisks (*). |
Buttons
- Add Drive
Adds a new drive to the table. - Edit Drive
Allows you to edit the settings of a drive. - Remove Drive
Removes a drive from the table. - Connect Drive
Connects the selected drive. - Disconnect Drive
Disconnects the selected drive. - Open Drive
Opens the selected drive. - Open Folder
Opens the folder of the selected drive. - Show Password in Plain Text
Displays passwords in the table unmasked.
Drive Settings
Here you configure the properties of a drive:- Connection Type
Choose from:- Drive
- BitLocker
- TrueCrypt Drive
- VeraCrypt Drive
- TrueCrypt Container
- VeraCrypt Container
- Drive Letter
Specify which encrypted BitLocker drive to use or which drive letter to assign to a folder, TrueCrypt/VeraCrypt drive, or container. With the AUTOMATIC option, the next available drive letter is automatically determined and used for the connection types Drive, TrueCrypt, or VeraCrypt. - Folder
Path for the Drive connection type. - Drive(s)
Path to an encrypted drive (TrueCrypt/VeraCrypt). - Container File
Path to the encrypted container file. - Drive Name
Enter the name of the drive to be connected with TrueCrypt or VeraCrypt. This allows AllSync to recognize already connected drives. - Username
Username for the encrypted drive or container. - Password
Password for the encrypted drive or container.
Options
- Abort profile if at least one drive could not be connected
Aborts the profile if a single drive could not be connected. - Abort profile if all drives could not be connected
Aborts the profile if all drives could not be connected. - Wait time after successful connection of all drives
Pauses execution for a specified number of seconds after all drives have been successfully connected. - Wait time before disconnecting a drive
Pauses execution for a specified number of seconds before disconnecting a drive.
Encryption Programs
Displays file paths and parameters for the supported programs:- BitLocker
Path and command line parameters for manage-bde.exe to lock and unlock BitLocker drives. - TrueCrypt
Path and parameters for truecrypt.exe to connect and disconnect TrueCrypt drives or containers. - VeraCrypt
Path and parameters for veracrypt.exe to connect and disconnect VeraCrypt drives or containers.
Notes:
- If no path to an encryption program is specified, AllSync will attempt to detect it automatically.
- Paths and parameters can be customized individually.
