AllSync Licensing Model

By purchasing a license for AllSync, you acquire the right to use the software in accordance with the terms of the license agreement.

License Quantity

One license is required for each installation and each user, allowing data transfer between two devices with different IP addresses. A device may be, for example, a computer or a NAS drive on the network. For each additional data transfer to another device with its own IP address, the license quantity must be increased by one.
Examples:

Data transfer between 2 devices with different IP addresses = 1 license
Data transfer between 3 devices with different IP addresses = 2 licenses
Data transfer between 4 devices with different IP addresses = 3 licenses
...

No additional licenses are required for data transfer between local and external storage media without their own IP address (e.g., a USB hard drive).
The license quantity used since AllSync was started is displayed in the log after each copy operation. The internal license count is reset each time AllSync is restarted.

Private and Commercial Use

The Home Edition may only be installed and used on the license holder’s personal computer for private purposes. For commercial or other non-private use of the software, the Professional or Business Edition must be purchased.

Issuance of License Information

For individuals, the license is issued to the user's first and last name.
Example: John Doe
For a company or organization, the license holder’s name is issued as follows:
- Company Name City
- Company Name City – User Name
- Company Name City – Computer Name
Examples:

- Microsoft New York - John Doe
- Microsoft New York - Server001
