Start AllSync Scheduler with Administrator Rights at Windows Startup

This guide shows you step by step how to automatically run the AllSync Scheduler at Windows startup with administrator rights using the Windows Task Scheduler.

1. Open Windows Task Scheduler

  1. Start AllSync
  2. Open Windows Task Scheduler via the menu bar under Tools.

2. Create a task

  1. In the right pane under Actions, select the command Create Task. A new window opens with the task settings.
  2. Set the name for the task, e.g., AllSync Scheduler Admin Autostart.
  3. Enable the option Run only when the user is logged on.
  4. Enable the option Run with highest privileges.
  5. Click the Triggers tab and then the New button. A new window opens for the trigger settings.
  6. Under Begin the task, select the option At log on.
  7. Under Settings, select the option Specific user.
  8. Save the settings for the new Trigger with the OK button.
  9. Click the Actions tab and then the New button. A new window opens with the settings for the new action.
  10. Under Action, select the option Start a program.
  11. Click the Browse button and select the file AllSync.exe in the AllSync program folder.
  12. Under Add arguments, enter the following command line parameters into the text field: -S -a -ws
  13. Save the settings for the Action with the OK button.
  14. Click the Conditions tab and disable all options.
  15. Click the Settings tab and ensure that only the option Allow task to be run on demand is enabled. All other options must be disabled.
  16. Click the OK button to save the new task.
