Before search
- Confirm the use of file and folder filters
With this option, the use of file and folder filters must be confirmed before the search operation. - Set AllDup's CPU priority to Low
With this option, AllDup's CPU priority is set to Low during the search operation.
During search
- Determine file owner (slower)
With this option, the owner of a file is determined and displayed in the search result in the Owner column. If you do not enable this option, the file owner can be subsequently determined and displayed in the search result by clicking on a file or by moving the mouse over the Owner column. - Determine the number of hard links per file (slower)
With this option, the number of hard links for a file is determined and displayed in the search result in the Hard links column. If you do not enable this option, the number of hard links can be subsequently determined and displayed in the search result by clicking on a file or by moving the mouse over the Hard links column. - Determine width and height of image files (slower)
With this option, the width and height of image files are determined during the search and displayed in the search result in the Width and Height columns. If you do not enable this option, the width & height can be subsequently determined and displayed in the search result by clicking on a file or by moving the mouse over the Width or Height columns. - Determine duration, bitrate, and sampling rate of files with the following extensions (slower)
With this option, the duration, bitrate, and sampling rate of audio files are determined using the MediaInfo plugin and displayed in the search result in the Duration, Bitrate, and Sampling Rate columns. If you do not enable this option, the information can be subsequently determined and displayed in the search result by clicking on a file or by moving the mouse over the Duration, Bitrate, and Sampling Rate columns. - Log search statistics of the progress indicator
With this option, the displayed search statistics of the progress indicator are written to the log at regular intervals. The logging interval can be set in minutes. - Cancel search if a certain number of duplicates have been found
With this option, the search is canceled after a specified number of file duplicates have been found.
After search completion
- Expand all groups in the search result
With this option, all groups in the search result are expanded after the search operation. - Remove all groups where files in a group are not present in all source folders
With this option, all groups are removed after the search operation if the files in a group are not present in all source folders. - List files without duplicates in the log (slower)
With this option, all files without duplicates are listed in the log. - Only show files without duplicates in the search result
With this option, only files without duplicates are displayed in the search result. - Play sound file
Here you can specify a sound file (MP3/WAV) that will be played after the search operation.
