AllDup Update Tool

With the Update Tool, you can check if a new version of AllDup is available for download and install it.

Toolbar

• Check
  Checks if a new version is available. Information about a new version is displayed in the log.
• Download
  Downloads a new version.
• Stop
  Stops the download.
• Log
  Opens the log of the Update Tool.
• Help
  Opens the documentation of the Update Tool.
• Exit
  Closes the Update Tool.

Version

Here you can see the installed version and the version of AllDup available on the internet, as well as the progress during the download of a new version.

Options

• Automatically check for a new version
  With this option, the Update Tool will automatically check for a new version when it is opened.
• Show setup dialog when installing an update
  If this option is not enabled, the update will be installed in the background without a setup dialog.
• Download folder
  Here you can specify the folder where the update file should be saved.

Proxy

Here you can, if required, configure the login credentials for a proxy server.

Privacy

When checking for a new version, only a text file is downloaded and evaluated from our web server. No private data is sent from your computer over the internet.
